Red Apple Parent

Red Apple kindergarten is by far the best choice for our family. I highly recommend it to anyone. My child feels safe, secure, and loved at Red Apple. She receives not only a high-level, quality education there, but also she’s learning that God loves her and she is growing spiritually during this very important formative year. She comes home telling me about science and math concepts I can’t believe she’s mastering at 51/2! There’s a lot of hands on learning which is important to me as well. The children are reading and progressing at their own levels. My daughter is very active and I’m so thankful that at Red Apple they take a whole-child approach, making sure the kids are outside playing regularly! The shaded playgrounds are a safe, fun haven for these children as they interact with one another. At Red Apple, kids still get to be kids. The teachers and directors often remind parents that a child’s play is also his/her work! Whenever I have had any concern about my child, I have been impressed with how much time the staff members are willing to take to discuss it at length with me. They genuinely love my little girl and it shows in everything they do! As my daughter moves on to first grade, she is extremely well prepared for the transition to a public school setting. My only complaint about Red Apple is that they don’t have 1st through 12th grade! My child has been in their care since age three, and I cannot say enough good about this amazing school. It has been a Godsend to our family. We will cherish our memories of Red Apple and come back to visit often!

My wife and I have had our son at Red Apple through the entire program, 4 years. We are extremely glad [emphasis] we chose Red Apple over other area schools. But why? It started with a clear and sincere meeting with Marian Hamre, the director. She took careful time, showing us the school and describing each level’s program, 2-yr-olds to kindergarten. It went from there to seeing the facility (very solid), and the engaged and happy children, and engaged teachers and assistants.

If you are looking for the BEST preschool & kindergarten, stop & look no further. Red Apple is, by far, the best school. We have had 2 children enrolled in Red Apple for 4 years and our entire family has been so blessed. The school and the staff are amazing. This is a whole family experience, even when my husband was deployed for a year, The school took care of me and my children.. Always a listening ear and an open heart…

Red Apple has been such a blessing to my son! Before coming to Red Apple my son was enrolled at another preschool. We had such an awful experience so finding Red Apple has been a treasure for our family. The director is amazing & so caring. The staff & teachers are so involved & care of our son as he was their own. I look forward to my two other toddlers attending! Thank you Red Apple!!!

Red Apple is the best value for preschool and undoubtedly for Kindergarten. It’s long-standing reputation in the community speaks for itself, as does the fact that most of the students who attend are from families who aren’t affiliated with the church.

All four of my kids have gone here and they loved it! Great teachers that care about the kids and their families. All of my kids learned a deep love for reading. More than that, they learned how to respect and care for other people, how to problem-solve, and simply how to learn. What a great foundation my kids received at Red Apple!

Red Apple is the BEST school!! The teachers and staff are wonderful and care SO much for the children! It is VERY apparent that the teachers, staff and directors are there because they LOVE children and their jobs…that is the best feeling a parent could have.

Shelly – Kindergarten Mom

We love Red Apple because it is like having a second family. Small classes equal more one-on-one attention and the teachers really care about each of their students. My daughter truly loves her teachers and loves going to school everyday.

Jennifer – Kindergarten Mom

I cannot give enough praise for the Red Apple Kindergarten program. The children experience hands-on learning in a fun and loving environment. I cannot imagine sending my children anywhere else.

Erin – Kindergarten Mom

My daughter looks more forward to the school week than she does the weekends! And she is one of the youngest in her class and now half way through the year, she is already reading and writing. In kindergarten, my daughter is writing out complete sentences answering what lives in the “emergent layer” of the rainforest! I think I need to take kindergarten all over again.

Kathryn – Kindergarten Mom

When we walked through the door at Red Apple, it felt exactly like what kindergarten should be.

Greg – Kindergarten Dad

I like that there’s a lot of music in the program and that the music teacher, Mr. Wilson, is greeting everyone at the door with his guitar.

Katie – Kindergarten Mom

Red apple is the most loving school. I know that my children are not only taught but loved, and that is a huge comfort to me.

Elizabeth – Pre-K II Mom

Our son has a late August birthday and we made the decision to give him an extra year before Kindergarten. When looking for a preschool in the mid-cities, Red Apple was one of the few that offered a bridge program rather than requiring him to stay in the same Pre-K class for two years. The Pre-K 2 class at Red Apple was the best decision we could have made. Since it is specifically designed for young 5-year-olds, he is in an environment with students who are similar in age and he is challenged with a curriculum that is appropriate for his level.

I remember the day I first visited the Red Apple School. Having visited other schools in the area, I already had certain expectations and thought I knew exactly what I was looking for. When I walked through the doors, my expectations were blown out of the water, and my heart skipped a beat. The walls were lined with beautiful creations made by the students, the children there were actively engaged in hands on learning activities, and the teachers were involved in the learning on a different level than I had experienced at other schools.
